About La Réserve
La Réserve takes its name from the former provisions store of the King's armies, built in 1559 in the Citadelle de Metz. Beneath the vaults of blond Jaumont stone, more than 500 years later, the restaurant of the hotel La Citadelle Metz MGallery has been reimagined by its manager Alexis Millet and his head chef Guillaume Hieulle. The ambition is simple and unapologetic: to make La Réserve a true Metz gathering place, open to the city and accessible to all.
The team stands for honest, local, seasonal and homemade cuisine. The menu has been simplified to better showcase the produce, prices readjusted, and the house has grown closer to the producers of the Moselle and the Grand Est.
La Réserve can be enjoyed at several rhythms: a buffet breakfast with homemade and local products, an express 60-minute lunch (main course at €22, main + homemade pastry or café gourmand set menu at €29), a tea time with homemade pastries and hot drinks, Crémant de Lorraine or cocktails (with or without alcohol), an afterwork around sharing boards, or a dinner with a main course at €26 and a three-course menu at €49. An offering suited to children and vegetarian guests, because everyone should be able to find their place.
“We don't promise to impress you, but simply to share a truly good moment with you in this place full of energy.” — Alexis Millet
